General Information:
Through out my life, no matter what the game, I have seemed to turn the heads of magistrates. Two in particular, King Henry VII and KIng Henry VIII. I managed to be frowned on due to my encouragement to decrease Henry VII power. Yes, yes I was in Parliament. He put my father in jail for revenge, so i had to stay low. Henry VII died in 1509. HA! Did that make me feel good. Think, the great "Patron to the Poor", struck down by an ignorant tyrant. Not anymore I say, with my friend, Desiderius Erasmus, I will become more famous, than these kings. I studied Greek and Latin throughout my life. While I wanted to become a monk, I became bored but continued to fast and all that good stuff and returned to my calling of politics. I wrote a book called Utopia, well for short because I do not want to type out the original title in latin. I'll make you ponder on this. Am I a devout catholic or do I, like everyone else believe in the betterment of a common cause. Do I believe women can be priests like men. I do not have the slightest clue. But because, I am Lord Chancellor, I will defy King Henry VIII to not divorce his wife because she is barren and will not produce him with an heir. And, I am loyal to the Pope and the Catholic Church. So my wits will be the reason I will become headless. I'll be a martyr though, like Sir Thomas A Becket. =)
WOMEN NEED TO LEARN!!!! Updated: 1505
Women are just as capable as men! Go out and tutor your women and children. Teach them art and literature. They will learn, like my daughter Margaret, she’s my favorite (don’t tell my other kids: D) She can write Latin so well, she’s better than a man! So I’ve been thinking, and I finally came up with an idea; why does everything have to revolve around social class? Like I don’t see the point of it. Why do we have to make innocent people suffer just because they were born in a low social class. I really disagree with the idea of kings ruling over dukes who rule over knights who rule over surfs..blahh blahh blahh.. there’s no point. I believe that everyone should just be equal. That way we wont have to worry about anything like wars and poverty because we’ll just all be one equal, big family. =) This is why I wrote my book Utopia! I know that it might not actually change the society itself.. Because I mean come on, one little book isn’t going to do that much.. But at least I will have the chance to change people’s opinions and thoughts about social classes and how down right horrible it is… well that’s all I have to say about that.
